Hyderabad: District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan carried out a field inspection in the Musheerabad Assembly constituency on Tuesday to review the progress of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter rolls.
Inspection at Dayanand Nagar #
The inspection was held at Dayanand Nagar in Adikmet, where Karnan was accompanied by the Zonal Commissioner of Secunderabad. During the visit, he interacted with local residents to check how the SIR process was being implemented on the ground.
He also addressed queries from the public regarding the voter enumeration exercise and reviewed the distribution of SIR Enumeration Forms at the field level.
Strict instructions to election staff #
Karnan directed the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), BLO Supervisory Officers, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to strictly follow the Election Commission of India‘s guidelines while carrying out the revision work.
The Special Intensive Revision is aimed at ensuring accurate and updated voter lists ahead of upcoming electoral processes.
