Telangana politics are heating up once again—this time not because of the ruling Congress party, but due to internal tremors within the opposition BRS. Signs of internal strife are now surfacing, especially with the recent developments involving KCR’s daughter, Kavitha.

A letter allegedly written by Kavitha to her father, KCR, was leaked on social media yesterday, instantly sparking political debate. In it, Kavitha reportedly expressed her dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs within BRS and criticized KCR’s soft approach toward the BJP.

In response, some social media handles associated with BRS dismissed the letter as possibly fabricated and claimed it may not have been written by Kavitha at all.

However, all speculation was put to rest today when Kavitha returned from her U.S. trip. Upon arriving at Hyderabad airport, she spoke to the media and confirmed that she did, in fact, write the letter.

Kavitha clarified that the letter had been written weeks ago and expressed shock over how it was suddenly leaked. She suggested that internal sabotage may have occurred within the party.

“It appears there are a few coverts in our party. Otherwise, how could a letter I wrote two weeks ago suddenly leak now? I usually write letters to my father to express my opinions. But none of them ever leaked—until now. This time, I simply voiced my views on party matters and conveyed the concerns of our grassroots cadre,” she stated.

Adding to the intrigue, a group of Kavitha’s supporters gathered at Hyderabad airport to welcome her. Interestingly, none of their banners displayed the BRS emblem or KCR’s photo. Instead, the placards simply read “Team Kavitha,” which has raised further speculation about internal divisions.
