One of the many problematic characters in YSR Congress is Kethireddy Pedda Reddy, who is from the Tadipatri constituency. He managed to ride on the YS Jagan wave in 2019 and narrowly won the Tadipatri assembly constituency against the conventionally strong JC Family.
But this dominance over this constituency did not last long for Kethireddy as JC Asmith Reddy reclaimed the seat in 2024 thanks to strong TDP wave.
Coming to the topic, now, the latest news is that, Kethireddy has been arrested by the police for the reason that he has multiple antisocial cases and illegal possessions filed against him. He was arrested in his house in Tadipatri, a short while back.
For those wondering whether this is rationally, correct, it must be noted that Reddy is one of the most problematic leaders in Anantapur district.
In fact, while YS Jagan was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, this elderly Reddy created a huge problem in the Tadipatryi constituency. He used to barge into the properties of the JC family with weapons and threaten to see the end of them without any reason. He severely troubled the JC family back then.
And now, time appears to be catching up as Kethireddy is facing the consequences for his earlier actions. He is facing the police action for the same now.
