Senior YSRCP leader and former Kovvur MLA, Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy, has made bold comments about his party’s future. Speaking to the media, he said he personally wants to see an alliance between YSRCP and BJP in the next elections. He also stated that he would share this opinion directly with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Reddy openly criticized Jagan’s past decision to avoid a tie-up with BJP during the 2024 elections, calling it a mistake. He argued that since YSRCP supported the Modi government during its five-year rule, there was nothing wrong in contesting elections in alliance with the BJP.
He pointed out that Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah never liked Chandrababu Naidu and even faced harsh criticism and protests from TDP in the past. Reddy believes that BJP initially preferred working with YSRCP but had to settle for a TDP-Janasena alliance only because Jagan didn’t step forward.
He suggested that if another opportunity comes, Jagan should agree to join hands with BJP for the upcoming elections.
