The Telugu Desam Party cadres across the Telugu states are in a celebratory mood as they indulge in the Mahanadu event currently being held in Kadapa. However, there are two notable absentees from the event—significant personalities in the party—Raghu Rama Krishna Raju (RRR) and Ayyannapatrudu.

Interestingly, both RRR and Ayyannapatrudu, who are known for their exceptional oratory skills, have skipped the Mahanadu event.

Considering that RRR and Ayyannapatrudu are among the most vocal and impactful speakers in the Telugu Desam Party, there were high expectations that they would deliver powerful speeches at the Mahanadu. TDP supporters were eagerly waiting for Ayyannapatrudu’s sarcastic yet fierce address, followed by RRR’s fiery rhetoric.

But in a move that disappointed many TDP supporters, both leaders stayed away from the event. However, there is a significant reason for their absence—one that actually highlights the core values of TDP.

It must be noted that Ayyannapatrudu is currently serving as the Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, while RRR is the Deputy Speaker. As holders of such prestigious constitutional positions, they are expected to remain neutral and refrain from attending active political events.

To uphold the dignity and impartiality of their respective roles, both RRR and Ayyannapatrudu made the conscious decision to skip the Mahanadu. RRR, while speaking to the media at NTR Ghat today, expressed that he is truly missing the Mahanadu experience, but stated that he must give precedence to the honor of his current position.

While their absence was felt, their decision to prioritize constitutional values over political celebration stands as a commendable act of integrity.
