The latest developments suggest that Telangana’s opposition party, BRS, is heading toward internal strife, possibly triggered by Kavitha’s growing dissent. Recent events indicate that Kavitha is not in agreement with the way the party is being run.
It all started with an explosive letter she reportedly wrote to KCR, urging more proactive action against the BJP, whom she accused of targeting her. She also mentioned that local leadership is being denied access to the top leadership, which she described as a major concern.
Adding to the intrigue, Kavitha arrived at Hyderabad airport yesterday and was greeted with individual placards and banners that made no mention of BRS. This, along with the letter and subsequent developments, has stirred internal turbulence within the party.
Amidst this backdrop, BRS Working President and party heir KTR) made a public statement that many perceive as a subtle response to Kavitha’s letter.
“Anyone can write a letter to the top leadership in our party. But some people must remember that certain matters are best communicated through letters, while others should be discussed internally. Keeping certain issues within the party and addressing them privately is often more effective,” KTR said.
While KTR didn’t mention Kavitha by name, it’s not difficult to connect the dots. His remarks clearly allude to the letter she wrote, and his words are being seen as a diplomatic yet firm rebuttal.
