Thalapathy Vijay recently had to undergo a significant political terminal after his public rally at Karur led to a stampede that killed 41 individuals while leaving multiple others injured.
Nearly a month after this incident, Vijay has finally decided it is time to meet the victims as he reportedly booked 50 rooms at a resort in the coastal town of Mahabalipuram near Chennai.
Out of the 41 families that were invited, it is now being reported by national media that only 30 families have been onboarded. They have been given adequate accommodation at the resort in Mahabalipuram and are meeting Vijay sequentially.
Vijay is reportedly spending time with each of the families that had turned up to the consolation event today and ensuring there are no further mishaps this time around.
This comes shortly after TVK had transferred compensation money of ₹20 lakh to each of the families through RTGS earlier. Vijay is now expected to extend his condolences to the families of the victims in this tragic incident.
