All hell broke loose recently after Naga Babu commented that anyone who thinks they are the sole reason behind Kalyan’s win in Pithapuram don’t have any credence. “Adi Valla karma” he said. This indirect comment was then linked to the hardworking SVSN Varma.

After Naga Babu made this unnecessary and untoward comment, there was a lot of criticism from the hard-core TDP supporter group. The widespread rebellion was that there is no need to bring out such comparisons at the Janasena plenary, and there was a massive show of support towards Varma. Many felt that it wasn’t right to discredit Varma who fought so hard for Kalyan.

Now, a couple of days after the incident, Pithapuram Varma took the occasion to indirectly react to the incident and here’s what he said.

“I am a soldier of the Chandrababu Naidu army. I am committed to work under my leaders, guidance, and jurisdiction. If someone comes and says my impact in Pithapuram has diminished, there is no reason for me to react to them. I might be in a position or I may be a part of the government, but I would always be loyal to my Pithapuram people and that’s it. What someone else says does not concern or bother me.” Varma said.

Verma obviously did not name anyone while delivering this statement, but the implications are pretty descriptive as can sense that he is least fazed by Naga Babu’s remark. He has showcased his complete loyalty to TDP while warding away the unnecessary verbal brawl created at JSP event.
