Former minister and YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu’s daughter, Sreeja, recently got married in the United States. The ceremony was an intimate affair, attended only by close family and friends, and took place at a local temple. Sharing the joyful news, Ambati Rambabu released a video message expressing his happiness.
He revealed that Sreeja, who is pursuing studies in endocrinology in the U.S., had chosen software engineer Jasti Harsha as her life partner. The wedding was conducted according to the couple’s wishes. Ambati also mentioned that they had originally planned a grand wedding in India, but due to visa issues and travel restrictions, it could not take place as intended.
He explained that Harsha’s parents were unable to attend the wedding because their visa applications were rejected multiple times. Despite the setback, he added, Sreeja and Harsha plan to visit India whenever possible, where a grand reception will be arranged to celebrate the union with family and friends.
In a lighthearted comment, Ambati noted how marriage trends have evolved. Once, it was common for doctors to marry doctors, but now combinations like doctor-engineer are becoming increasingly popular. He extended his gratitude to all friends and well-wishers who joined the celebration virtually and sent their blessings from afar.
