It is an established predicament that the bilateral relationship between India and the United States of America have been rather volatile after Trump imposed 50% tariff on the former.
In this context, a leading German publication had also reported that Modi didn’t answer Trump’s phone calls around 4 times in purview of this tariff war.

Modi posted on X (Twitter), a short while back that Trump had spoken with him on the phone and conveyed his birthday wishes and also called for comprehensive partnerships in new heights.
“Thank you, my friend, President Trump, for your phone call and warm greetings on my 75th birthday. Like you, I am also fully committed to taking the India-US Comprehensive and Global Partnership to new heights. We support your initiatives towards a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict.” Modi tweeted.
Amid global reports about Modi, ignoring the phone calls of Donald Trump, this new conversation between the two of them is grabbing the attention.
Incidentally, this closely follows the open trade talks between India and United States after a delegation of the U.S. came to Delhi to discuss crucial matters. These discussions were reportedly “positive” and now, Trump has called Modi.
