All of India is closely watching the Tirumala Laddu contamination case, as it directly affects the sentiments and beliefs of millions of Hindus. After the CBI stepped in, there has been substantial progress in the investigation.
With authorities now actively pursuing the case, several key developments have emerged, and the most significant one so far appears to be the role of former TTD EO Dharma Reddy.
According to the latest media reports, Dharma Reddy has reportedly turned approver in the case. It is being said that he is providing crucial information to the investigating authorities.
As per reports, Dharma Reddy admitted that he was aware contaminated ghee was being supplied to the TTD and acknowledged having seen the CFTRI report related to it. He also confirmed being in contact with AR Dairy and Bhole Baba companies, which supplied ghee to Tirumala.
Apparently, Dharma Reddy expressed regret that greater care should have been taken during laddu preparation. Reportedly, he also confirmed that former TTD Board Chairman Subba Reddy was aware of the contamination.
These claims are currently circulating in the media, and it remains to be seen whether investigating authorities will officially confirm them. If proven true, the Tirumala laddu controversy could further tighten its grip around the YCP leadership.
