Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu made explosive allegations against the YSRCP, accusing them of manipulating the widow of Singayya, the party worker who died during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s recent visit to Rentapalla.
Chandrababu, while addressing a public gathering in Kuppam, expressed deep anger over how the situation was being twisted to fit a political advantage. He alleged that YSRCP leaders were attempting to shift the blame for Singayya’s death and using his wife to back their version of events.
“They acted like a man didn’t die under their convoy, but like a dog was hit,” Chandrababu said sharply. “Now they are trying to spin a new story by coaching his wife to say someone did something in the ambulance. This is a shameful attempt to deflect blame.”
He also questioned the timing of Singayya’s wife Mary’s recent statements. Just days after a case was filed naming Jagan as A2, she publicly expressed doubts about her husband’s death and blamed TDP leaders for pressuring her to file a case. Chandrababu called these statements suspicious and politically motivated.
“This is nothing but a setup,” he declared. “They are trying to protect themselves by creating confusion. But the people of Andhra Pradesh can see through this drama.”
The CM stood firm that the original facts of the case still hold, Singayya died after falling under Jagan’s convoy. “This is a tragic death, and instead of taking responsibility, they are dragging the victim’s family into political games,” he said.
