The IT minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh took part in the India Today conclave event that was held last night and he had a series of highly interesting comments to make.
When asked about the competitive edge that the neighbouring states of Telangana and Karnataka, which have Hyderabad and Bengaluru, respectively, here is what Lokesh had to say.
“It is true that Telangana has Hyderabad and Karnataka has Bengaluru. But it must also be noted that Andhra Pradesh has Chandrababu Naidu, and he is our competitive edge. Chandrababu Garu is the point of difference here, and he is the one who will drive investments and reinforcements to Andhra Pradesh.” Lokesh said.
Lokesh backed this big statement by saying that Chandrababu is driving huge investments to the capital region of Amaravati and also the data city of Vizag. He cited the example of the 7 Gigawatt plant agreement with Tata Power that was signed just last week.
The IT Minister said Chandrababu is the competitive advantage that Andhra Pradesh has and was confident about the fact that the state will continue to prosper under his leadership.
About the questions that are being raised by YCP leaders about the safety of Jagan, Lokesh said “These questions were being asked for the last nine months. But did something actually happen to Jagan in this period? In fact he has more security than our deputy CM Pawan Kalyan garu..”
