Telangana Assembly sessions are currently underway, where the deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka presented the state budget for the financial year 2025-26. Bhatti Vikramarka announced that a budget of Rs. 3,04,965 crore is being presented to the House for this year. The total revenue expenditure comes around Rs. 2,26,982 crore, while the capital expenditure is around Rs. 36,504 crore.
“Telangana citizens evinced their trust in us by granting power. We will provide transparent governance to fulfill the aspirations of the people. We are working to get economy back on track, which was severely damaged during the previous government’s tenure. Some people are deliberately criticizing the welfare and development programs undertaken by the government,” he said.
