After having spent multiple decades with the YS family, Vijay Sai Reddy has finally quit Jagan’s side as he left YCP recently. Though he claims to be apolitical now, Sai Reddy is frequently in the middle of several discussion are related to Andhra Pradesh politics.
In this context, there was a recent media report, which stated that Sai Reddy had notified his close circles that Jagan might get arrested in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam on June 10. This report was carried conservatively by non mainstream media.
However, it appears that the matter has now reached Sai Reddy himself as he reacted on the scenario and claimed innocence.
Sai Reddy stated “It has come to my attention that some nameless newspapers and TV channels are campaigning against Jagan garu, saying that I spoke against him in Tirupati and Vizag. I have not spoken against Jagan garu either off the record or on the record. Even if I disagree with the coterie and leave the party, I will not act or speak in a way that harms Jagan garu.” Sai reddy stated.
The former YCP MP clearly has his loyalty with Jagan as he further added that he would do nothing that would harm Jagan.
I am not in politics. I have no enmity with any political party or leader. Whatever I want to talk about, I will speak directly and openly in front of the media. I request you not to believe the campaigns being made in electronic media and the writings being written in dirty newspapers by those who are trying to spread falsehoods in my name, he concluded.
