Organised policing and strict maintenance of law and order are crucial for the prosperity of a state. Any state that effectively follows these vital parameters is bound to develop both socially and economically.
On that note, the latest report issued by the Indian Justice Report – 2025 indicates that Telangana has the best policing model in all of India.
Telangana achieved a score of 6.48, surpassing Andhra Pradesh (6.44) and Karnataka (6.19), which secured the second and third positions, respectively. Notably, Telangana improved its ranking from third place last year to first place this year.
Telangana topped the list of rankings for states with a population of over one crore. This is a very positive sign and a direct reflection of the policing model under the Revanth Reddy regime.
More importantly, it is encouraging to note that the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are topping the list when it comes to police rankings.
It appears that the change of governments in both states has resulted in better policing and improved law and order maintenance.
