Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the AFS Adampur in Jalandhar earlier today to meet the brave air warriors and soldiers who took part in Operation Sindoor. He took to social media to share a few pictures from his interaction with soldiers.

Sharing the pictures, PM Modi wrote, “Earlier this morning, I went to AFS Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. It was a very special experience to be with those who epitomise courage, determination and fearlessness. India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation.”

PM Modi’s visit happened after the ceasefire was declared between India and Pakistan. Adampur Air Base was one of the air bases which was active during Operation Sindoor, defending the drones that were shot from Pakistan.

Speaking about Operation Sindoor last night, Prime Minister Modi said that the government has given the defence forces full freedom to fight terrorists. He stated that the Indian Air Force, Army, Navy, Border Security Force and Paramilitary Forces are constantly fully on alert. PM Modi went on to add that Operation Sindoor has set a new benchmark in India’s battle against terrorism.
