YSR Congress leaders have been following the infamous “Rappa Rappa” narrative, where they threaten to take action against NDA leaders if Jagan Mohan Reddy returns as Chief Minister. This aggressive rhetoric is being pushed not just by Jagan himself, but also by several of his associates.
At one point, former minister Perni Nani made a controversial statement, questioning the need for public threats like “Rappa Rappa” when, according to him, things could be done silently and sympathy could be gained afterward. This was one of the most provocative remarks by a YCP leader in recent times, reflecting a deeply vindictive tone.
However, Nani’s comments appear to have backfired. A police case was registered against him for making such inciting and antisocial remarks, and since then, he has reportedly gone into hiding.
Nani is said to have approached the court for anticipatory bail. While legal proceedings are underway, he is reportedly untraceable, with speculation that he may have temporarily shifted to Hyderabad.
Reports suggest that Nani may return to Andhra Pradesh only after securing anticipatory bail or some form of legal protection. For now, law enforcement is actively searching for his whereabouts in an attempt to locate and question the controversial leader.
Interestingly, many expected Nani to take part in the protests following Mithun Reddy’s arrest. However, he notably stayed away, likely to avoid attracting police attention. It remains to be seen when and how he will resurface in the state.
