During the YSR Congress tenure, the Telugu Desam supporters and cadres faced a whole lot of challenges and pressures. Several of them were targeted personally by YCP ecosystem back in the day. However, the cadres through things would change on a positive note after the NDA government came to power.

But going by the latest scheme of things, this doesn’t appear to be the case in reality either. Incidentally, a TDP worker and hardcore loyalist named Veeraiah Chowdary was brutally murdered at his office in Ongole. This shocking incident sent shock waves to the political troopers in Andhra Pradesh.

The severity of the issue was so strongly felt that chief Minister Chandrababu himself came down and took part in the final rites of the deceased TDP worker. Babu arrived in Ongole today to take part in the final procession of Veeraiah.

While addressing the crowds at the final rites, Babu delivered a strong statement as he said he will not spare anyone who is associated with this murder. He stated that the perpetrator will be caught, no matter where they are on this earth.

“No matter where these murderers are hiding, I will bring them under the law. They can be anywhere on earth, I will punish them through law. We have commissioned 12 special units to identify the culprits. In the meanwhile, I extend my deepest condolences to the family. I will stand by this family at every step and provide all possible support,” Babu said.

Babu appeared to address the crucial feedback from cadres about their safety from YCP goons even under the NDA tenure. He appeared very moved by this incident and vowed to take up this matter very seriously. It has to be seen if this incident would bring in a crucial change in TDP operations from a lower leadership level.

In the meanwhile, the latest Media reports are suggesting that a YCP leader who is suspected in this murder case is on the run now. Tracking him and bringing him under thr law would be a great first line of duty by the TDP leadership.
