A common party worker who once stood firm against police humiliation has now been rewarded with a prestigious post. Kotte Sai Prasad from Srikalahasti has been appointed as the Chairman of the revered Srikalahasteeswara Devasthanam, thanks to the recommendation of Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

The story goes back to 2023 during YCP’s rule. At that time, Sai Prasad led a peaceful protest in Srikalahasti in support of Jana Sena. The police, however, acted harshly and then-CI Anju Yadav publicly assaulted and humiliated him in the middle of the road. Despite being beaten, Sai Prasad did not retaliate and stood his ground with dignity, reflecting the spirit of democracy and Jana Sena ideology.

On the very same day, Pawan Kalyan, who was in Tadepalligudem for a meeting, immediately responded. He personally took Sai Prasad and other leaders to the Tirupati SP’s office and lodged a formal complaint against the police actions. That moment marked the beginning of recognition for Sai Prasad’s loyalty and courage.

Now, Pawan Kalyan has ensured that this ordinary worker is given extraordinary respect. By nominating him as the Chairman of Srikalahasteeswara Devasthanam, Pawan has once again shown that he values commitment and sacrifice over status or power.

This decision stands as a clear example of how Jana Sena leadership rewards grassroots workers who stay true to the party’s ideology and fight for democracy. For Sai Prasad, this appointment is not just a personal honor but a symbolic victory for every loyal activist who believes in Pawan Kalyan’s path.
