As reported earlier today, Andhra Pradesh achieved a major milestone by signing a landmark agreement with Google for the establishment of its first AI hub in India.
The hub will be set up in Visakhapatnam, and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu along with IT Minister Lokesh participated in the agreement signing ceremony held in Delhi today.
On this occasion, Chandrababu made a noteworthy comment that reflects the proactive approach of the Andhra Pradesh government.
“This is not just a Google project anymore. This is a project that belongs to Andhra Pradesh, and we will ensure it is implemented to its fullest capacity. We are aiming for a 15% growth rate for the state, and Google will play a crucial role in achieving this. It is the responsibility of our government to create the best environment, and we will certainly do it.”
From struggling to attract investments between 2019 and 2024, Andhra Pradesh has now reached a stage where global giants like Google are choosing to invest in the state. This turnaround clearly shows the impact of a visionary and proactive leader like Chandrababu Naidu, who is now turning promises into action.
