In a strong signal of stability and pro-investment governance, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to clear ₹7,500 crore in long-pending subsidy dues, Economic Times reported. This major step, backed by the NDA coalition and timely intervention from the Centre, comes just weeks before the Global Investor Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14.

The subsidies will be cleared in two tranches ₹2,000 crore through a HUDCO loan this month, followed by the balance ₹5,500 crore by December. This long-awaited decision directly benefits industries and MSMEs, who had struggled under years of uncertainty.

During the previous government’s tenure, dues kept piling up, eroding investor confidence and leaving industries in limbo. Naidu, with the strength of the NDA alliance, has swiftly moved through Centre to address these concerns. The Centre’s cooperation has been pivotal, enabling Andhra Pradesh to mobilize resources and deliver on its promises.

By clearing the backlog, Naidu has not only restored credibility but also sent a powerful message that the government honours commitments and stands hand in hand with entrepreneurs. MSMEs, often regarded as the backbone of the state economy, are being prioritized, ensuring inclusive industrial growth from villages to towns across the state.

Politically, this move underscores the strength of the NDA. Where earlier governments struggled with indecision and financial bottlenecks, the renewed coalition has created a climate of trust and decisive action. Naidu’s leadership, backed by support from Delhi, is once again positioning Andhra Pradesh as a reliable and ambitious investment hub.

With the Investor Summit around the corner, this bold step reaffirms that Andhra Pradesh, under Naidu and the NDA, is open for business and firmly on the path of growth.
