Not many contemporary politicians in India have the kind of experience and political heritage as Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. Considering his immense popularity, even in the national circuit, Chandrababu is mostly in the focal point of discussion during the formation of the central government.

Every now and again, there is a debate happening in the national capital Delhi, about the possible appointment of Chandrababu as the Prime Minister, considering his seniority and expertise.

While Chandrababu has categorically denounced these speculations in the past, there’s a parallel debate happening in this context. This topic was brought to discussion in front of Andhra Pradesh, IT Minister and the son of chief minister, Chandrababu, Nara Lokesh and he had a humble reaction to the same.

When asked if Chandrababu has one eye on the Prime Minister post, Lokesh replied “Chandrababu Garu has both his eyes in Andhra Pradesh. His only vision is to make Andhra Pradesh as the number one state in the country. Our loyalties are with Modi ji and his administration. So let us stop the discussion about Babu Garu being the PM candidate for the next four years.” Lokesh said.

Lokesh further added that he and his father are gully leaders who are focused on Andhra Pradesh and not Delhi leaders who have their attention elsewhere.

This mature statement from Lokesh on the national platform is an indication of the consolidated position of the NDA alliance.
