In the past few days, Andhra Pradesh politics have taken a new turn after the demise of Christian pastor Praveen Pagadala. Praveen, a 45-year-old Christian preacher from Hyderabad, was found dead on March 25, 2025, near Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. Authorities initially reported that he died in a road accident while traveling on his motorcycle to attend religious gatherings.

However, this quickly became a new political topic, with YSR Congress getting involved. Political analysts commented that the YCP was trying to give a political angle to this incident and spread communal hate against the NDA government.

Now, in a much-needed statement, the family members of Praveen have finally reacted to the situation.

Praveen’s wife, Jessica, released a video message where she condemned the political narrative being spread around her husband’s passing.

“I request your cooperation during this time of investigation. The government was quick to order a complete investigation into Praveen garu’s death. We are thankful for this.

As the investigation is ongoing, I appeal to all those who are enthusiastically involving themselves in self-investigations to refrain from doing so, as it is tarnishing the image of Praveen garu.

Some YouTubers and bloggers are spreading false information about his death. Some are using his death and the investigation for political and communal gain. I urge everyone to stop this as a symbol of respect for Praveen garu’s service to the church and community,” she commented.

On the other hand, Praveen’s brother Kiran released another video in which he asked people to stop self-investigating and commenting on his brother’s death. His message was clear as he expressed confidence in the government delivering due justice through a proper investigation and identification.

At a time when certain political parties are looking to take advantage of this sensitive situation, the family members have finally reacted and delivered much-needed, pacifying messages.
