Many politicians tend to forget the humane side of things once they achieve higher positions. They ignore the issues of the masses and focus only on high-profile political affairs. However, in the TDP, there is a longstanding culture of prioritizing the concerns of the people, ensuring that their voices are heard and addressed.

In one such heartwarming incident, Minister Kondapalli Srinivas quite literally saved the life of a hardworking farmer, eventually becoming a god-like figure to him.

Korakoti Srinivasulu, a native of Singanamala constituency in Anantapuram, cultivated pomegranate trees on 11 acres of farmland. However, he faced a severe water shortage, having failed in 48 borewell attempts. Fortunately, he succeeded on his 49th attempt. But another major problem arose.

Allegedly, Srinivasulu was tormented by electricity board officials who refused to grant him a power connection for his borewell. Frustrated and helpless, he decided to commit suicide. That was when locals advised him to visit the TDP head office, where his issue could be brought to Nara Lokesh’s attention for a rightful resolution.

As a final attempt to seek help, the farmer arrived at the TDP head office in Vijayawada. There, he happened to meet Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, who was present at the time. Upon learning about the issue, the minister immediately instructed the collector and local authorities to take swift action and resolve the matter.

Amazingly, within just four days, the issue was completely resolved. The local collector, police officers, revenue officials, and electricity department officers arrived on-site and provided the necessary power connection to the farmer’s land. This intervention quite literally saved him from the brink of suicide, and he is now happily cultivating his farm with the newly installed power line.

The common sentiment now is that Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, at just 42 years old, has displayed remarkable leadership and compassion. Many credit him with embodying the true spirit of the TDP—standing for the people and ensuring their welfare. This act of kindness and commitment to the public has further strengthened his reputation, with many believing that his dedication could propel him to even greater heights in politics.

It was sheer fortune that the farmer visited the Vijayawada TDP office—usually a very busy place—and encountered a minister as dedicated as Kondapalli Srinivas. This life-saving intervention is a testament to the leadership and people-centric approach that has kept the TDP close to the masses for over five decades.
