One of the proactive measures taken by the incumbent NDA government in Andhra Pradesh is its strong focus on bringing multiple new investments to the state. This is now reflecting in the fact that several elite global companies are rushing to set up shop in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the latest reports, a mega project worth Rs 87,250 crore has been approved for Vizag. Reportedly, the central government has given the green signal for setting up a massive Data Center and IT Hub. A 1,000-megawatt AI-powered Data Center is also going to be established here.
Raiden Infotech, which is associated with Google, is reportedly orchestrating this mega investment project in Andhra Pradesh. This will be one of the biggest projects in the history of the state once it gets executed.
The plan involves developing 480 acres in the first phase with world-class infrastructure. By 2028, the project aims to build over 2,100 MW of data capacity, attracting major tech companies to Vizag.
Considering the fact that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh have been advocating the “speed of doing business,” this massive project could be completed at a quick pace and ultimately stand as a hallmark of Vizag’s rapid growth.
