Tirumala is one of the biggest religious places of worship in the globe and is regarded as a sacred site for the Hindu community. In accordance with this, the TTD board, which overseas the financial and operational aspects of the Tirumala Temple has insane amount of workload.

However, the major complaint against the previous YCP government in Andhra Pradesh was the gross mismanagement of the TTD board, which got amplified further with the recent laddu issue.

Now, Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan has called for a new system with regard to the TTD operations, and here is what he had proposed.

In his elaborate statement, Pawan Kalyan pointed out that the previous TTD Board’s colossal administrative failure and immoral actions caused deep, unforgivable hurt and shattered the sanctity of Tirumala.

He opined that this painful breach of trust must serve as a profound lesson for the present TTD Board, which must continuously work and strive to restore the sanctity of Tirumala and regain the trust of millions of devotees.

I urge the TTD to begin by ensuring total transparency in all activities from financial statements, quality control and audits to property and donation management, making every detail publicly available, Pawan Kalyan stated a short while back.

This comes shortly after Pawan Kalyan had recently called for the establishment of Sanatani Parirakshana board to protect Hindu interests.

While establishing a Sanatana Dharma Parirakshana Board is a step for the future, the responsibility to safeguard and stand for Dharma remains the collective responsibility of every single Sanatani, and it remains my sincere hope that someday all our temples across the country are managed by the community, Kalyan added.
