It was recently established by the SIT that ₹11 Crore cash related to the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam that happened during the YP regime in 2023 was identified at a private farm house in Hyderabad.

While the investigation continues to deepen and the nuts are starting to tighten, we are hearing more and more cases of cash being recovered at various places. Here is a look at one such story involving the infamous YCP government liquor scam.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has recovered a video from the mobile phone belonging Venkatesh Naidu, who is an associate of former Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.

This video which is now going viral shows him counting crore of rupees in cash bundles of ₹2,000 and ₹500 notes. The date of video shot is unknown and the same is being instigated by the SIT. It could be at any given point in time between the 2019 to 2024 timeline when YCP ruled Andhra Pradesh.

The video, reportedly taken by Naidu himself, captures the cash laid out on a table. The SIT had earlier arrested Venkatesh Naidu in Bengaluru for his alleged role in the scam.

The kind of cash transactions that are being investigated and unearthed now give a small hint of the illegal monetary operations that happened under the previous government.
