Telangana politics took a dramatic turn yesterday after reports emerged that Kavitha had written a strongly-worded letter to her father, KCR, criticizing his political strategy. The letter quickly became a hot topic across the state.

According to the report, Kavitha expressed her dissatisfaction with KCR for allegedly going easy on the BJP, despite the party’s role in targeting her during the Delhi liquor case investigation. She also urged for more involvement of second and third-tier leaders within the BRS, emphasizing the need for grassroots-level strengthening of the party.

However, as the story gained traction, the BRS responded with a counter-narrative, dismissing the report as fabricated. The party claimed that no such letter was ever written by Kavitha to KCR.

Interestingly, this topic was brought up today in front of KTR, who had a visibly unexpected reaction.

When a Telugu media reporter asked KTR to comment on the alleged letter, he appeared clearly displeased. He was seen pushing away the reporter’s microphone in frustration — an uncharacteristic move from a leader known for his calm and composed demeanor in public.

KTR neither confirmed the existence of the letter nor outright denied it. Instead, he said, “I will answer this at a later point in time. Why are you in more of a hurry than me? What do you have to gain from this?” before walking away.

As of now, the debate around the authenticity of Kavitha’s alleged letter to KCR continues to stir political circles in Telangana.
