It wasn’t long ago that KCR’s daughter, Kavitha, openly said she did not support her party’s truce with the BJP. She even discussed a time when the party was ready to join hands with the BJP, which went against her wishes.
Now, the topic is back in discussion again, and this time at a much higher level, with a BJP MP himself claiming to have solid proof that KTR proposed the merger of BRS with the BJP.
The BJP MP in question is CM Ramesh, who came before the media today and made one of the most significant political revelations of the day regarding KTR and his alleged proposal to merge BRS into the BJP.
“A few months ago, KTR came to my house with a proposal to merge his BRS party into our BJP. In return, he wanted the BJP to ensure that no cases would be filed or investigations launched against the scams of the previous BRS government. I even have video proof of KTR coming to my house,” he said.
Ramesh further challenged KTR to swear on God and respond with full honesty about whether he really did approach him with such a proposal. “I didn’t reveal this earlier to the public or the media because it was done in a private capacity. I didn’t want to make an issue out of it.”
This revelation from CM Ramesh comes a day after KTR made serious comments against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “CM Revanth Reddy is awarding costly Telangana contracts to Andhra Pradesh contractors. There is a secret understanding between Congress, CM Revanth, and BJP MP Ramesh, who is openly getting public contracts in Telangana,” KTR alleged.
He further claimed that the Fourth City Road contract, worth Rs 1600 crore, was awarded to Ramesh due to this secret deal.
It appears that these comments provoked Ramesh, prompting him to threaten to release proof of KTR’s approach to merge BRS into the BJP.
This development could become one of the most critical political twists in Telangana’s recent political scene.
