The Telangana political spectrum is entirely revolving around KTR and chief minister Revanth Reddy, who constantly having a go at each other. Notably, there was some substantial progress regarding the Formula E scam case after ED was commissioned to investigate the matter and find evidence against KTR recently. But this slowed down later.

In this context, KTR has now taken a dig at Revanth Reddy using the Formula E case and the subsequent investigation and political commentary that followed. He linked this to the upcoming Miss World competition that is being held in Hyderabad from May 7 to highlight his point.

“Apparently spending ₹46 Crore for Formula – E race in Hyderabad was wrong & will attract cases being filed But spending ₹200 Crores of public money to conduct Miss World, a beauty contest is right !! What is this perverse logic? Can you please explain?” KTR stated.

The point that is being raised by KTR here is that Revanth Reddy made a mess of the Formula E race that happened in the BRS tenure he himself is preparing to allegedly spend Rs 200 crore on Miss World competition.

The argument made by KTR is that Formula E race brought global image and accreditation to Hyderabad and asked Revanth the intention behind the upcoming Miss World competition and what are its returns.

The primary communication made by Revanth was that he wants to see Hyderabad as a global city and hence, global events like Miss World pageant and others will help achieve this aspiration. And in the first place, the issue wasn’t with BRS holding the Formula E race but instead about KTR being allegedly involved in financial mismanagement in this process.
