Former Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad on Thursday evening after he suddenly fell ill. Around 6 PM, he reportedly appeared weak and was unable to walk properly, prompting his family to take him to Yashoda Hospital.

Doctors immediately shifted him to the ICU and conducted several tests. Later in the night, the hospital issued a bulletin stating that KCR’s condition is stable. However, doctors said his blood sugar was high, and his sodium levels had dropped, which caused extreme fatigue. They also mentioned a few other health issues but confirmed that he is under close observation.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally inquired about KCR’s condition by speaking to the hospital staff over the phone. He urged them to provide the best medical care and wished for KCR’s speedy recovery.

As soon as news broke about KCR’s hospitalization, a large number of BRS leaders and party workers tried to gather at the hospital. However, police imposed restrictions in the surrounding areas to prevent crowds. Security was tightened around Somajiguda, Raj Bhavan Road, and Khairatabad Junction, anticipating possible unrest or disturbances.
