After being suspended from the BRS by the party president, MLC K. Kavitha made some sensational allegations against her cousin T. Harish Rao.
She charged Harish Rao and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of conspiring to divide her family. I have been made the scapegoat first and in the future, conspiracies could be hatched against BRS working president KT Rama Rao and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao too, she said.
Revanth Reddy and Harish Rao travelled in the same flight to Delhi and it was since then, that my family has been targeted, she alleged.
She posed a straight question to her brother and former minister KT Rama Rao why he did not care to respond when she raised concern that some anti-BRS forces were involved in propaganda and hatching a conspiracy against her. “I sat in Telangana Bhavan and raised the concern and being the party working president, was it not the responsibility of KTR to address the issue. It is more than 103 days since I raised the matter but no action was initiated. Instead, I was suspended.”
She also made some serious allegations against her relatives and party colleagues, former minister T. Harish Rao and former MP J. Santosh Kumar. She alleged that both of them had hoarded up gold in huge amounts in their houses and Bangaru Telangana does not mean just those two party leaders flourishing in prosperity. Is it enough if Harish Rao and Santosh Rao stock gold in their houses? Does that mean Bangaru Telangana?
BRS president KCR raised the ‘Bangaru Telangana’ slogan and I too spoke about the same but my statements have been distorted, she lamented.
