The political heat in Telangana is now centered on the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election. While BRS is busy finalizing its candidate, an unexpected twist has created buzz. Former Jubilee Hills MLA P. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy met MLC Kavitha at her residence and held a long discussion.
Though Vishnu Vardhan said he only went to invite Kavitha for a family celebration, political circles believe the Jubilee Hills by-poll was also discussed. His sudden meeting with Kavitha has raised eyebrows, especially as many BRS leaders are currently keeping their distance from her after she was suspended from BRS party.
Speculation is growing that Kavitha might play a surprise role in the by-election. Meanwhile, KTR is said to be focusing heavily on the Jubilee Hills seat and is considering Sunita, wife of Maganti Gopinath, as the party candidate.
If Kavitha does make her own move, it could shake up BRS and make the Jubilee Hills contest even more dramatic.
