BRS leader and MLC Kavitha has openly hit back at her party for removing her from the honorary president post of the Telangana Coal Miners Union. She said the decision, taken overnight while she is currently in the US, is illegal and insulting.
Kavitha wrote a strongly worded letter addressing the Singareni workers, where she questioned both the party and its leadership. She alleged that the new appointment of BRS leader Koppula Eshwar to the post was done behind closed doors at the party office, without consulting the workers. She called it a violation of labor laws and urged miners not to accept it.
Kavitha further claimed that this is part of a larger conspiracy against her inside the party. She said her earlier letters questioning internal party issues had already caused discomfort, and this latest step is a continuation of the attempts to sideline her.
She alleged that no elections were conducted for the union and that changes were made without considering the wishes of the workers. Calling it an insult to her and the union, Kavitha warned that she would expose those behind the conspiracy.
Concluding her letter, she declared that political reasons are behind her removal and made it clear that she would not remain silent.
