Chief minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy had a very interesting choice of words when he was asked if KCR’s daughter Kavitha would be allowed to join the Congress party, as the speculations are suggesting likewise.
Revanth Reddy affirmatively said there is no entry for any of KCR’s family members in the Congress party. He did not necessarily name, Kavitha in this statement but the implication was very clear.
Revanth Reddy showed absolutely no interest in the proposal of Kavitha, leaving BRS and potentially joining the Congress party. “As long as I am in power, I will not let any member of the KCR family to join in the Congress party.” He said.
This comes early after there were Media speculations about Kavitha being in touch with a few Congress leaders and hinting that she is ready to move from BRS to the national party if she is given an adequate position.
However, Revanth Reddy appears to be least bothered about this proposal as he stands overwhelmingly against any such plan.
If the man in power is so very against this political gameplay, then there is very little chance that Kavitha could actually be joining Congress, if at all there’s any such intention from her side.
