From the outset, the YSR Congress ecosystem seemed overly desperate to make a political spectacle out of Jagan’s visit to Raptadu today. There was too much orchestrated political activity surrounding this event, as YCP tried to claim sympathy over the killing of a commoner, which was projected as a political murder.
This visit led to an unexpected and problematic incident, which in turn became a headache for Jagan himself. Apparently, no safety protocols were followed during Jagan’s arrival in Raptadu today. The helipad itself was strangely and unusually crowded, leading to disorganized chaos all around.
The impact of the unorganized crowds near the highly sensitive helipad area was so severe that media reports state the chopper’s windscreen was damaged by the crowds. Reportedly, the helicopter left prematurely and didn’t even carry Jagan back, which is the standard protocol. As a result, he had to use other means of transportation in response to this unexpected incident.
After all the drama and political maneuvering, Jagan confined the event to a customary press meeting, during which he ended up criticizing the AP police and threatening to strip them soon. This sent a negative signal to the public. All in all, this much-hyped Raptadu visit of Jagan ended up as a catastrophe for YCP, with so many things going wrong.
