Former chief minister YS Jagan has been confining his visits to Andhra Pradesh, just to party level meetings, rather than mass outreach programs. Another one such visit to AP, he spoke with his cadres and announced the start of the “Recalling CBN Manifesto” program.
As a part of this program, Jagan has instructed his party workers to go door-to-door for the next five weeks and explain the common folk about the kind of false promises that Chandrababu had made.
Jagan announced that a special QR code is being designed for this program, and once people scan it, they will get the complete details about the manifesto that was presented by Babu before the election and the way in which he backtracked on the same.
“Chandrababu broke all the electoral promises. We have never seen a government accumulate so much negativity amongst the public in just one year. So we need to make the most out of the situation by starting this new program and educating people about how much money they have lost in the last one year by voting for Chandrababu. Let us compare that to the money that we used to give per year.” Jagan said to his cadres.
“ఇంత తక్కువ కాలంలో ప్రజల్లో ఇంత వ్యతిరేకత మరే ప్రభుత్వంలో మనం చూసి ఉండము.”– #YsJagan pic.twitter.com/ehwgAKL2xX— FilmShlim (@FilmShlimOfficial) June 25, 2025
On one hand, the ruling NDA government has been holding celebratory events to earmark the one year of NDA rule and the enhancement of the development index correspondingly. And on the other hand, we have Jagan who wants to project this supposed negativity against the government. But as usual without Jagan on the ground, this program might also fall flat with not much reception.
