The traffic and pollution management crisis in Bengaluru has gotten very bad over the recent years and the Karnataka government is scratching heads on how to deal with this scenario.
In this connection, the Karnataka government has come up with a new proposal, which is a first of its kind implementation.
According to the latest developments, the Karnataka authorities have put for a new proposal where IT employees will be offered a payout package of ₹50,000 if they opt to move out of Bengaluru and shift to other cities like Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kalaburagi and others.
The government has allocated a significant ₹445 crore budget for this program and it is likely to come to existence very soon. This is going to be one of the hallmark implementation of the Karnataka Government authorities, and there is a lot of impetus depending on the same.
The Karnataka government feels that this payout package to encourage IT employees to move out of Bengaluru would not just help other cities, but also control the traffic issue in Bengaluru.
If the employee agrees to move from Bengaluru to Karnataka cities, the government will pay up to ₹50,000 in incentives. It has to be seen if this program would be successful in luring IT workers out of Bengaluru, which is one of the favourite cities for the masses in India.
