Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is planning an important official trip to Singapore from July 26 to 30. He will be joined by ministers Nara Lokesh, TG Bharath, and Narayana during this 4-day visit.
When the CM is out of the state, it is usually the Deputy CM who steps in to manage things temporarily, even if it’s not an official title. In this case, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan could play a key role.
A similar situation happened earlier when Chandrababu went to the World Economic Forum in Davos. Back then, many expected Pawan to be named as the in-charge CM, but that didn’t happen. Even Pawan didn’t seem too concerned about it at the time.
Though being an in-charge CM is not an official role with legal powers, it’s still a big responsibility. It can also become an important moment in Pawan’s growing political journey.
Now that Chandrababu is going abroad again, the big question is: will Pawan Kalyan be given that chance this time? We’ll have to wait and see.
