Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has praised AP CM Chandrababu in a recent letter, calling him one of the most inspiring leaders he has ever met.

Gates appreciated Chandrababu’s energy, saying his dedication and tireless work—regardless of age—are a great example for today’s youth. He also mentioned that he felt fortunate to have met Chandrababu and still cherishes the memories of their meeting.

The letter comes a few months after Gates visited India and had a special meeting with Chandrababu. During the visit, Gates was taken to Amaravati, where the Chief Minister shared his vision for building a world-class capital. They also signed an agreement between the AP government and the Gates Foundation in Delhi, focusing on investment, agriculture, education, and healthcare for the poor.

In his letter, Gates recalled that meeting and praised Chandrababu’s commitment to the partnership. He especially acknowledged the CM’s efforts to improve agriculture and uplift underprivileged communities in Andhra Pradesh.

Gates was also impressed by Chandrababu’s work ethic, noting that he works more than 18 hours a day for the people of the state. He wished Chandrababu continued success and expressed hope that he would keep working with the same passion to transform the state and the country.

Gates confirmed that the partnership between the Gates Foundation and the AP government is still active and that a team from the foundation will soon visit the state to take the collaboration forward.
