YS Jagan recently visited Bangarupalem in Chittoor district. The plan was to meet mango farmers and speak with them directly at the local mango market. But the event did not go smoothly.
Due to poor planning and crowd issues, the program had to be stopped halfway. Jagan spoke to a few farmers but left earlier than expected. This left the event incomplete and disappointing.
Sources say Jagan was not happy with how his party leaders handled the event. He held an internal meeting soon after to discuss what went wrong. He reportedly asked tough questions about how the crowd was managed and why there was so much confusion.
The police had allowed only 500 people at the event. But more than 15000 people reportedly came. Some say the number was even higher. Supporters also dumped mangoes on the road using tractors, which created a mess and caused more problems.
Jagan is said to have questioned party leaders about who planned this and why such actions were taken. He reportedly asked, “Did this help our image or damage it even more?” He was especially upset with one senior leader from Chittoor and blamed him for the confusion.
This incident has made the YSRCP leadership more alert. They are now telling leaders to plan things properly, stay focused, and avoid creating unnecessary scenes, especially when Jagan is trying to connect with the people again.
