Amaravati is set to become home to India’s first Quantum Valley, after the Andhra Pradesh government gave the final approval for the project. Officials said the building designs have been completed, and tenders will be issued in the next few days. The foundation stone will be laid in September.

The Quantum Valley will focus on new-age technologies such as Quantum Computing, artificial intelligence, and advanced research. Big technology companies like IBM and TCS are expected to take part in the project, making Amaravati a strong destination for innovation and investment. One of the main highlights of the project is its unique building design. For the first time in India, a structure will be created using 3D printing with plastic and titanium materials. The authorities added that this modern building can be finished in just 120 days, which is much faster than traditional construction methods.

The project is being developed by APCRDA. Officials said the Quantum Valley will not only bring new technology but also create jobs, support startups and attract global companies to Andhra Pradesh.

“This project shows our state’s commitment to becoming a leader in technology and research,” a government representative said.

Experts believe the Quantum Valley will help India compete with other countries in the field of quantum technology and will boost Amaravati’s image as a smart and future-ready city.

With designs ready and tenders about to be released, the state is preparing to begin construction in the coming months. Once complete, the Quantum Valley will be a major step in turning Amaravati into a hub for knowledge and innovation and drive the state development ahead.
