Indian Soldier Ali Martyred In J&K Counter-Terror Operation – FilmShlim

A brave Indian Army official has sacrificed his life during a counter-terror operation in the Udhampur District of Jammu and Kashmir. Havildar Jhantu Ali Shaikh of 6 PARA (Special Forces), who worked for the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps, was martyred in this attack.

Announcing his death, White Knight Corps tweeted, “GOC, WhiteKnightCorps and all ranks salute braveheart Hav Jhantu Ali Shaikh of 6 PARA SF, who made the supreme sacrifice during a counter terror operation. His indomitable courage and the valour of his team will never be forgotten. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved family in this moment of grief.”

Reportedly, the operation happened earlier today after the army officials received information about terrorist presence in the Dudu-Basantgarh area in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. It was a joint operation by the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police. According to the Army, Havildar Jhantu Ali Shaikh sustained severe injuries in this operation and despite offering medical assistance, his life could not be saved.

Havildar Jhantu Ali Shaikh hailed from Krishnanagar area of West Bengal. TMC MP of the Krishnanagar constitunecy, Mahua Moitra, prayed for his soul by tweeting, “Havaldar Jhantu Ali Sheikh of 6 Para SF, Indian Army martyred today during an encounter between army & militants in Udhampur. He hailed from Patharghata village in Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency. God bless his brave soul.”
