The scion of the Telugu Desam Party and the current IT Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh, is steadily transitioning into becoming the face of the party. After successfully managing internal affairs within TDP and earning the trust of party cadres, Lokesh is now positioning himself for a larger role on the national stage.

A crucial factor in Lokesh cementing his place at the top of the political chain is building strong relationships with the central leadership in Delhi.

In this context, it’s noteworthy that Lokesh has been making frequent visits to Delhi in recent months, meeting with several top leaders within the NDA alliance. After a two-hour meeting with Prime Minister Modi last month, Lokesh is back in the national capital for a two-day visit.

During this trip, Lokesh met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed the progress made during the past year of NDA governance in Andhra Pradesh. This meeting came shortly after his visit to the Vice President of India.

Building strong relationships with national leaders is no easy task until now, it was Chandrababu Naidu who maintained these crucial connections.

However, it’s now Lokesh who appears to be visiting Delhi even more frequently than his father. Political analysts believe this marks a significant phase in the party’s internal transition, with Lokesh increasingly being entrusted with the reins of power.
