Nara Lokesh has been actively interacting with national media channels in the recent past, and he gave one such explosive interview to a leading national media outlet. He got candid in this interview as he spoke about several topics, including the time when his father Chandrababu got arrested.
When asked to comment on the highest and lows in politics, Lokesh said it is important to take the lows as supportively as the highs.
“I have endured a few challenges and low points in my career in politics. I got tougher with each challenge. But there was this one time, I felt gutted and it was when my father Chandrababu Garu was arrested and held in Rajahmundry Jail. He was held in the very same jail that he had developed in his third tenure as the chief minister. It was very unfair on him and also in Andhra Pradesh state. I had a tears in my eyes when I saw Naidu in jail.” Lokesh said.
Lokesh said he got really emotional upon seeing his father being locked up in the very prison that he had envisioned and built.
But at the end of the day this emotionally challenging incident also shaped up Lokesh and made him even more tougher.
