As we had been extensively reporting over the last few days, Hyderabad has been observing extreme rainfall conditions in the last couple of weeks. In particular, the low lying areas in the city are observing waterlogging and extreme traffic congestion.
In this context, Telangana chief minister, Revanth Reddy has done something thoughtful and effective as he got on the ground to deal with the situation on priority.
Incidentally, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy came on a surprise visit to the Ameerpet and nearby areas which are badly hit by the recent rainfall.
The chief minister himself on the ground, the local authorities and workforce got on the ground immediately to resolve the situation on priority. But the good thing is that Reddy didn’t confine this visit to a formal appearance, but instead, he interacted with the locals and got to know about the problems.
This is exactly what the struggling public needed at this point in time as the presence of Revanth Reddy on the ground would activate the authorities and speed up the recovery process.
Perception of Revanth Reddy is also going to be super positive now, considering his hands-on approach to this matter.
