For the ninth month in a row, chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu stepped out to the masses to take part in the pension distribution program. He visited the GD Nellore constituency in Chittoor district today to directly handover the pension money to select a few villagers, which has become a customary program for the chief minister on the first of every month.
Incidentally, while Chandrababu was taking part in the pension distribution program today, there was this one particular household that got immensely benefited from the chief minister’s visit.
After the chief minister, met with a family while distributing the pension money, he was moved by their poverty. So he instantly decided to change their lives forever.
After seeing two granddaughters in the house, Babu immediately ordered Rs 2 lakh fixed deposit each on both their names (Rs 4 lakh in total). On top of that, the chief minister stated they will be added as beneficiaries in Mission Vatsalya program and they will be receiving Rs 4000 each per month till they turn 18.
He even instructed the authorities to see if the children can be accommodated at a government facility and get educated.
Till yesterday, this family was caught in absolute poverty while the future of the two kids was hanging in air. Today with ChandraBabu’s visit, their lives changed forever with the significant financial aid provided by the veteran politician.
Such humanitarian assistance is what sets a chief minster of the masses apart from the rest.
