All is not well in the BRS camp as KCR’s own daughter Kavitha has been at crossroads with her party leadership. While she has been strategically saying KCR is a supreme leader, with no black marks, she had been targeting the other leaders surrounding him.
This reached a new climax when Kavita publicly said Harish Rao, Santosh and others are behind the infamous Kaleshwaram scam, which is now becoming a big headache for KCR. She is evidently, aiming the barrel at the top leadership of BRS, including Harish Rao and indirectly KTR as well.
With yesterday’s episode, it became increasingly blatant that Kavitha is not in good terms with the BRS leadership and in tune with this, some reciprocal corrective measures are being taken.
The latest news is that several top BRS leaders are stationing themselves at the Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, and they are preparing for Media brief.
Reportedly, the stage is set for the suspension of Kavitha from the party on disciplinary grounds for her wild comments on Harish Rao and others in front of the media yesterday. The same could be publicly announced by the BRS leaders in a short while.
If Kavita is indeed suspended from the BRS, which looks extremely likely, then this could be a major political event in Telangana politics. It is almost certain that Kavita will launch a new party in the state and directly work against BRS.
It appears that Telangana is also going the Andhra Pradesh where Sharmila is openly standing against Jagan and leading the Congress outfit. Kavi might also be doing the same, albeit with a regional party of her own.
