The government of Andhra Pradesh has started to take steadily progressive measures when it comes to enhancing the development index. This is one of the principal reasons why several top grade companies are coming to the state with investment proposals.

In this context, something very interesting is happening as Reliance is confirmed to come to AP to set up a beverages manufacturing plant.

Reliance Consumer Products Limited gets 80 acres to set up a beverages manufacturing plant at ₹30 lakh per acre, will commerce production by 2026 Dec. Investment: 1622 Cr Jobs: 1200. Location: Orvakallu, Kurnool.

One of India’s fastest growing beverages product Campa drink is going to be manufactured at this plant in Kurnool, which promises sustained development and long term investment.

On top of that, this investment project is going to happen at the economically challenged Kurnool region which would largely enhance the livelihood here, much like how KIA worked wonderfully for Anantapur.

Incidentally, Reliance industries has already committed an investment of ₹65,000 crore to set up 500 CBG plants in Andhra Pradesh, aiming to drive a green energy transition while creating employment opportunities.

While former chief minister YS Jagan was also particularly receptive to the Ambani family, there was very little development regarding Reliance investments under his regime. But the situation is certainly changing under Chandrababu as the government is clearly taking a state-first approach.
